The capital of Ukraine Kiev hosted a solemn diplomatic reception organized by the Embassy of Mexico in honour of the appointment of the new Ambassador of Mexico to Ukraine - María Luisa Beatriz López Gargallo.
The event honouring the appointment of the head of the diplomatic mission was visited by the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of countries such as Argentina, Bulgaria, Brazil, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, Moldova, Portugal, Cuba and others.
A few days ago the President of Ukraine Petr Poroshenko received credentials from ambassadors of 12 foreign countries including Mexico.
María Luisa Beatriz López Gargallo became the fourth Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mexico to Ukraine, succeeding her predecessor Berenice Rendon Talavera.
