The house of hobbit may be rented only together with suite Chateau de Soleil squared at 380 square meters. The construction is located in Black Hills not far away from Mount Rushmore. «I came up with the idea when I stayed at home of my brother-in-law and saw a little house on the tree which he has built for his children», one of the project’s authors told. «Everybody chooses hotels to stay, but now everyone wants to evocate bright recollections», he claimed expressing the hope that fantasy house is to be popular among guests.
In the suite of rooms belonging to Bilbo there are gas fire, TV-set with flat screen, two big beds, water supply system, and air-conditioner. The house is decorated with the signs written in the elvish language and copy of Sauron’s helmet. For greater authenticity guests are offered with slippers recalling shaggy legs of hobbits. One should enter the accommodation through one and half meter round door resembling the entrance into the housing of Bilbo from cinema trilogy of Peter Jackson.
The authors and owners of the house are the fans of saga «Lord of the rings», the spouses Gordon and Audrey Mack – spent nearly seventy thousand dollars for the construction. One may book a room at least for three nights.
Bilbo Baggins is the character from the book of John Tolkien «The Hobbit, or There and Back Again» where it is told about the fantasy universe Middle-Earth. The novel was turn into a film by the director from New Zealand Peter Jackson. The movies collected more than 2.9 billion dollars in a world distribution of a motion picture; moreover, its film «An Unexpected Journey» won Oscar for scientific and technical collaboration into the cinematograph.
