It conceded to New Zealand according to all the criteria, apart from the level of education, safety and ecology. Finland took the third place. This country was recognized as the best for efficiency of the power, level of democracy growth, and guarantees of the law supremacy.

Switzerland that takes a leadership in the area of education obtained the fourth place in the ranking of prosperity. Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Denmark followed it. Great Britain which a year ago was at the fifteenth place, improved its indicators and now encircles the first dozen.

Russia appeared at the 95-th place of the ranking of the prosperity with one of the worst results in the area of private freedoms, under which Legatum Institute understands the protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens of the country as well as tolerance reflected by the society.
