The peacock did not get a permission to fly from New York to Los Angeles

The air companies have recently allowed to the passengers with mental or emotional problems to take animals free of charge to calm down. The owner of the bird tried to persuade that she needed the peacock for the emotional support, that’s why it had to fly.

As it was stated in United Airlines, the woman had been warned beforehand that the bird could not fly with her because of its weight. But the owner of the peacock came to the airport with it. She tried to buy the ticket for her animal but the air company refused once again.

As it was defined, the peacock is called Dekster. Its owner is New York artist Ventiko. Several years ago she got a couple of peacocks, Dekster and Etta, for her installation in Miami. Then Ventiko gave the birds to the mate who had already got the house with the big garden. But something has gone astray, and Etta along with the birds disappeared. Ventiko had to search for the new house for Dekster but neither farm not conservation parks wanted to take the peacock. That’s why the artist decided to keep it.
