In the Belgian bar set an alarm for glasses

In one of Bruges' bars, alarm sensors were set up for beer glasses, so that visitors stop stealing them. According to the owner of the institution, in just a year hunters for classical beer utensils took more than 4000 glasses from his bar.

Let us recall that beer of various Belgian varieties is served in unique glasses to emphasize its originality and make the presentation more spectacular. In the course goes dishes of various shapes and sizes, including - glasses in the form of halves of coconut or stylized cups, from which monks drink wine in monasteries.

The Beer Wall Bar serves 60 beers, and many visitors are so impressed with the original glasses that they can not go home without taking a couple with them. The owner of the establishment, Philippe Mace, had to take drastic measures: he spent about € 4,000 to install the sensors on the glasses. Now dishonest visitors to the bar are threatened with something more than a hangover, if they do not curb their inner collector of beer attributes.
