Residents of the Catalan city of Balaguer noticed nutria in the river Segre.
The animal became visible in broad daylight in the center of the city.
In search of food, nutria then came out of the water, then dived back.

It is noted that this is not the first case of the appearance of marsh beavers in Segre. A year ago, nutria was also seen in the center of Girona, not far from the river Onyar.
