In Britain, a monument to David Bowie is opened

In the center of Aylesbury, which is located at a distance of 60 kilometers from London, a monument to David Bowie was opened.

Bronze sculpture is located in the city, in which the musician first appeared in the image of Ziggy Stardust. The monument was named "Earth Envoy", it shows Bowie in different scenic images, the main one of which is the image of Ziggy Stardust.

In addition, the sculpture has a built-in speaker that plays Bowie's music every hour.

The money for the installation of the monument was collected by producer David Stopps with the help of grants and crowdfunding campaign, which brought 160 thousand dollars.
