The traveler collected 15 thousand tablets "Don’t disturb"

Eduardo Flores of Turin managed to put together a collection of more than 15 thousand tablets "Don’t disturb", which are usually hung on the door of hotel rooms.

Eduardo Flores used to work at the UN. He always had a passion for travel and, occasionally, brought from business trips the "Don’t disturb" badges. One day his colleague drew attention to them and came up with a thought that it would be possible to make an interesting collection.

Tablets are made of a variety of materials, such as paper, plastic, wood, fabric, leather, brass. Not all the "exhibits" came from the hotels. Part of the plates Eduardo got from cruise ships, from educational institutions or hospitals.

If Eduardo meets a difficult production, an unusual sign, he turns to the hotel staff with a request to sell him this miracle. Sometimes spectacular tablets are sold in souvenir shops at hotels.

Collector's favorites are samples from Asia, because they often use the craftsmanship of local artisans to carve an interesting sign from wood or other materials. Tablets from Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia are Eduardo's favorites.
