She succeeded to visit his country only when Ukraine obtained visa-free regime and Marina shared with OUTLOOK her observations about how the Belgians live, what they eat for breakfast and how they relax.

Shrimp fishing at Oostduinkerke: Horses for courses
If early morning you walk along sandy beaches of Oostduinkerke, located in one of Belgium western provinces, you can see several suns. One, of course, is in the sky, and others are bright yellow spots riding horses carrying heavy wicker baskets, while plying the shallows along the North Sea coast for shrimps. Oostduinkerke and shrimps are hand and glove, so horseback shrimping is still practiced here.

Philharmonic of Kyiv hosted guests of the Embassy of Belgium in Ukraine on the occasion of the King's Feast. Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland, Japan, Norway, Slovenia, Armenia, Brazil, Argentina and other countries attended the solemn reception and the concert program.

On the 15-th of November, Belgium celebrates King's Day, taking advantage of the excellent occasion. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Alex Lennart organized a concert of two virtuosos in the Kiev Philharmonic Hall - the duo Blumenfeld Piano Duo of the world-famous Ukrainian pianist, who lives in Belgium, Dmitry Sukhovienko and Belgian Aaron Weinberg.

The Four Aces Guitar Quartet kicked off the celebrations of 25 years of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Belgium
On March 10th, 1992, Ukraine and Belgium signed the agreement establishing diplomatic relations. To celebrate this ‘silver jubilee’, the Embassy of Belgium will organize a series of events throughout the year, starting with a concert by the Four Aces Guitar Quartet and the presentation of an edible art work by Steve Schepens.

In Kyiv there was a concert dedicated to the Day of King of Belgium
On the 15-th of November, in Kyiv in National Philharmonic of Ukraine the official concert dedicated to the Day of the King of Belgium happened. The event was organized by the Embassy of Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine and personally Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Luc Jacobs. All the musical pieces in this evening sounded at the performance of Belgium ensemble ‘Het Collectief’ which performed in Ukraine firstly.
