In Dubai the biggest shopping centre will be put up

The project of investment company “Dubai Holding” is at the stage of professional consultation. Its implementation is announced to start in the first quarter of 2015. The shopping mall which is expected to gather 190 mln people annually, will become a part of extensive project “Domed city” with complete air-conditioning, as it is stated in the message. Apart from the verily shopping centre, in “Domed city” there will be more than one hundred hotels with 20 thousand hotel suites, pedestrian paths more than 7 km long, health clinics, theatres, circuses, parks and other entertainment establishments.

Inside the complex it is planned to make the biggest in the world, roofed, family-friendly, entertaining centre. It will be equipped with extension-type cupola opening in winter at moderate atmospherical temperature. The cost of project comprises at the amount of 6,8 billion UAH. The total square of new centre is almost 4,5 mln square metres. According to assumptions, building of the whole complex will take at least ten years.

The largest one among functioning shopping malls Dubai Mall is also situated in Dubai. Last year it was attended with 75 mln people.
