Michael Schumaher is discharged from the hospital

After 254 days spent in hospital Schumaher is setting off for home.

“Rehabilitation of Michael will go on at home. He has done his best over the past weeks and months, but long and hard way lies ahead. We want to give thanks to clinic staff for willing hands and proper work. We also ask to respect private life of Schumaher and abstain from speculations on the issues of his health”, - said the manager of racer Sabina Kehm.

Sportsman’s house is situated on the shore of Lake of Geneva not far away from Lausanne.

Schumaher had picked up a severe head injury in downhill skiing activity in French Alps on the 29-th of December, 2013, and was staying in induced coma for a long time.

In April, state of his health was defined by certain mend. At the end of June, it was announced that Schumaher emerged from coma and was transferred into rehabilitation clinic in Lausanne from hospital in Grenoble. In July, his spouse has informed that health of Schumaher is gradually improving.
