Between Norway and Russia the tunnel will be built
It will cost 33,2 mln euro and spread from Norwegian city Kirkenes to Russian side of border.
It is expected that the subject will be ready in two years, by autumn of 2016. The tunnel will receive the name «Tryphon tunnel» in honour of orthodox saint-monk Tryphon who lived within the territory of current Murmansk region in XVI century.
As it is reported, tunnel between Russia and Norway is the part of global automobile project of Russia which provides building of bridge across the river Paz and several highways in this region.
New infrastructure to have being built in Murmansk region, will encourage increase of tourist flow between two countries. Besides that, it will allow to detrain border crossing checkpoint which cannot keep up with ascending number of travellers.
