John Moore, actor, who used to act in many Christmas advertising spots of «Coca-Cola», died in Burgess Hill city, in Sussex, Great Britain, in the age of 86 years because of the lung cancer, as it is reported in the newspaper TheArgus.

The funerals of the most popular in the world Santa Clause happened on the 31-st, 2014.

When Moore did not act in advertisement, he used to work as taxi driver and barman. In Christmas days, he attired in famous red costume and amused children at the charity evenings. The wife of Moore died 10 years ago, they did not have children.

«It is very upsetting to hear about John’s passing away, we extend our condolences to his family and neighbors. He was able to animate classic Santa Claus of the “Coca-Cola” company» — the spokesperson of soft drinks producer claimed.

For the first time John Moore acted in Christmas video of supermarket Morrison's in 2005. The next year he was welcomed by “Coca-Cola” for creation of remake of its classic poster of 1931. On this layout the girl is pictured who gives a bottle of famous lemonade to Santa Claus. In 2006, the company created a new poster, with the same composition. There are Moore in the image of Santa and the modern girl. Afterwards Moore acted in several Christmas videos of «Coca-Cola».
