In Europe photos in front of tourists attractions may be forbidden

As the edition explains, in case if the stated legislative act is accepted, the views of such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the Trevi Fountain will become objects of copyright. Those who wish to take shots in front of them should get permission from the designated persons.
In Brussels, it is also offered to create «Facebook-police» to find out illegitimately taken shots in social media. The offenders could be tried on charge and in case of proven guilty the person may pay fine or stay behind the bars.
The future draft legislation will advert to professional photographers, however, as the edition writes, there is a possibility that statements of the documents will address the amateurs.
The photographs from German professional studio who are discussing the initiative in Internet have already called the necessity to get permission to take shots in front of landmarks «absolutely unreal». Online-encyclopedia Wikipedia has made a stand against the change adoption promising to publish amateur photographs of the popular landmarks so as to demonstrate «insanity» of new offerings.
