NASA demonstrated the first photo of Pluto

On official website of American Space Agency NASA, the first shot of Pluto made by the equipment of New Horizons is published.
It is reported that the planet is covered with icy mountains which have been existing more than 100 million years.
Earlier, the experts of NASA with the help of space station New Horizons defined the unique size of Pluto.
On the 14-th of July, the space probe of NASA New Horizons approached dwarf planet Pluto to implement its main mission – the maximum proximity with this space object.
Interplanetary space probe New Horizons left Earth in January, 2006. The leading task of the mission is to investigate Pluto and its orbital body Charon – after fulfillment of the mission the station probably is to go towards Kuiper belt.
