In England the jam is created from bacon

The authors of the dish became Martin Cowley and his wife Suzie. The desert consists of maple syrup, whisky, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.

As the creators of the jam said, their new dish gained overnight success among customers, with such a great demand that confectioners do not have enough time to prepare that all, as Lenta.ru reports.

«We have taken our bacon jam to various shows over the last month to see how it goes and in one weekend it accounted for a third of our takings», — Martin Cowley said.

Cowley family gathered money for equipment used for jam production through crowd funding Kickstarter. Nowadays the couple is setting up a new campaign with the hope to receive four thousand pounds (more than six thousand dollars) for acquisition of additional room and equipment.

After the end of money collection, Cowley family intends to demonstrate a new product to the customers – jam from chorizo and brandy.
