In Venezuela working week is reduced to two days
The stated measure is taken, as it is reported, temporarily, so as to overcome energetic crisis which has been continuing in the country.
Vice-president Aristóbulo Istúriz implied that Monday and Tuesday remain working days, and the rest of week will become the days off until the crisis is over. The educational establishments will have been working for four days a week.
At the beginning of April, the president Nicolás Maduro signed an executive order to reduce working week in the country to four days and appealed the population to make responsible use of electrical appliances so as to save electricity.
