The famous tourist web-portal Trip Advisor demonstrated the ranking of the most popular landmarks of 2016.

As the marketing director of this resource Barbara Messing explained, while choosing the most attended sights they considered, firstly, the votes of user, as Mashable writes. Besides that, these prominent places annually attract millions of tourists because they represent the brightest samples of human fantasy and talent.

Duomo di Milano, Italy

Gothic cathedral church built from marble is situated in historical part of the city. The building of such an eminent construction had been lasting nearly for 600 years – from 1386 to 1965. In addition to that, at the cathedral roof the breathtaking view on Milan is visible.
