An aged visitor of New Museum of art and design in Nuremberg took a piece of art to be a usual crossword puzzle and completed it with ball-point pen.

91-year-old woman was staying at the excursion along with the group where she saw writing ‘Fill the gaps’ near the art-object. An old woman explained to policemen who came at the place of incident that accepted words for the instruction manual that is why solved a ‘puzzle’.

A work of Dutch artist of avant-gardism Arthur Køpcke having been created in the middle of 1960s was rented by a museum from a private collection. Its cost is estimated in $116 thousand dollars.

The director of museum Eva Krause told that damage would be repaired. As she said, gallery had to call the police only to effect a policy of insurance. ‘We will say to a woman that collector perceived the damage with the sense of humor, and she may sleep with a peaceful mind’, Krause added.
