In the capital of Ukraine 24th annual fair IWCK Charity Bazaar 2016 took place. This year own locations and authentic products were presented at the event by several dozen embassies that operate in Ukraine.

Charity Bazaar is an event orchestrated by IWCK. This structure was founded in 1992 in order to gather women from all over the world to participate in charity, social and culture activities. On December 3 NSC Olympijsky turned for a day into a noisy and colorful market where different countries were presented with own stands where guests could acquire goods delivered specifically for the fair, among them: gastronomy and drinks, authentic souvenirs, decoration elements, accessories and many other things!

Visitors could try traditional dishes of the world right at the event. Thus, Embassy of Hungary treated them with rich goulash soup, Embassy of Belgium – with crispy waffles, Embassy of Uzbekistan – with odorous pilaf, Georgia – with sweet churchhela and wine.

This year the fest began with cutting of the red ribbon and parade of flags. Cordial mood was also created by entertainment program within the framework of which visitors got acquainted with national music and dances from various nooks of the world. Special kids’ area was expecting smallest guests; Santa Clause greeted children there.

Guests who attended Christmas Fair could also participate in a lottery and win valuable prizes such as flight tickets, gift certificates to restaurants and hotels, presents from embassies and many other pleasant things.

This year among participants there were diplomatic missions of such countries as: Argentina, Austria, Algeria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, South Korea, Sudan, Turkey, United States, United Kingdom and Uzbekistan.

Directorate General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions presented own stand on behalf of Ukraine.

All the funds gathered during the Bazaar will traditionally be sent to charity.
