In Yurmala the Park of Light is opened

The concept of Park of Light was created by the authors of the great Christmas tree of 2016 in Vilnius, the artists Jolanta Tūraitė and Dominykas Koncevičius, as well as Latvian illumination specialist Eugeniy Verovska.
At the viewing point with the height of 33.5 meters in Dzintari the snowflakes and snowy covers in dunes created from the light decorations are sparkling. The snowfalls were covered with the branches of the trees. The bridge in the park transformed in the unique light decoration, arch in the form of the huge whirling sea wave. The LED light garlands with the total length of 3.5 kilometers had been used to create it. At the children playgrounds the rest area of the park has been made vivid with Christmas dwarfs and hares.
The Park of Light will have been working all the December, on Saturdays and Sundays (10, 16, 17, 23 and 30-th of December), from 3 pm till 6 pm. There will be creative workshops on the decoration of the trees, production of the candles, as well as the games. At the Christmas market one will be able to buy presents and delicacies. The entrance in the Park of Light is free-of-charge.
