In Romania at the mountain top Ice Church has raised

Автор: 13.02.2015 | religion, Romania
The church completely made from ice has risen at the height of 2000 meters in Romania. It is a place which you may reach only with the help of cable-railway.

The church establishment built in the mountain mass Făgăraș has six meters in height, 14 meters at length, and seven meters width-wise. Ice building is the spit and image of ancient church in Transylvania.

Chunks of ice for the building of church were cut from Balea Lake with chain saw, 322 kilometers northwest of Bucharest. The lumps are blessed by priests, then, cemented together with water and snow. The similar structure had been built annually for the past few years. Here the baptismal ceremonies and church weddings were held, as it is reported by The Telegraph.

This week in the church they expect for the first congregants at the act of worship of Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant priests.
