Australia will have not produced the cars anymore

The car production company General Motors Holden that has functioned for 90 years and gave employment to 900 workers made the last product in its history. It has become the red sedan Holden VF Commodore.

The car producers notice that close of Australian plants is connected with the increase of cost price of the production, rival proposals from foreign concerns and change of the customers’ taste but not with the lack of national support.

At the beginning of this decade the country produced 450 thousand cars per a year and car producers searched for the opportunities to increase the export abroad, including the USA, however, the production expenditures broke all the plans.

In the nearest future there is every likelihood to stop the work of companies supplying the components and accessories for Australian car plants.

Let us remind that earlier such giants of the area as Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Chrysler and Leylnd closed their production in the country.
