The citizen of Italy got significant fine because she used somebody’s photo for social media profile

The usage of somebody’s photo in the personal profile on Facebook might cost a fortune.

30-year-old citizen of Pordenone was called in the court after her mate found out her photo as the personal one on the page of Italian citizen in the social media.

The judges did not want to listen to any reasons and made a verdict for woman to pay the administrative fine in the amount of 3750 euro for the crime ‘impersonation’. Besides that, in addition to the fine, Italian citizen will have to pay the legal costs.

The accused woman filed an appeal but it was declined by the court of cassation that considered the decision of administrative judge as the right one.
