Unique tomb of sacrificer from Ancient Kingdom is found in Egypt

Egyptian archaeologists found out the tomb aged nearly 4.4 thousand years where the sacrificer had been buried.

The walls of the tomb situated not far away from Cairo are covered with frescos untouched by time with picture of sacrificer Hetpet.

Hetpet was the servant to the goddess of fertility Hathor who was considered to help women in childbirth.

The tomb was figured out during the excavations on the plateau Giza to the South from Cheops pyramid, as it is reported by the ministry on the ancient Egyptian monuments.

That place the noble people were buried who are originated from the fifth dynasty of old Egyptian kingdom. Several of the tombs had been found out in 1842.

Frescos are saved quite well. There are pictures of Hetpet in the hunting field and fishing. As well, she is depicted as the one who has got the presents from children.

Apart from that, on the frescos there are performances of dancers and musicians along with different animals, from the cattle to the monkeys.

On one of the frescos there is an ape that is dancing in front of the orchestra.
