In the city of Nara, a parade takes place, where all participants carry cherry twigs in their hands. In the city of Koriyama, the oldest cherry in Japan grows, whose age is more than 600 years. Her bloom is eagerly awaited by many people. There is even a special site that in real time informs about the state of flowering.

You can do khanami at night. To do this in many parks hanging paper lanterns, which create a mysterious atmosphere. Or the flashlight is placed under a tree so that only it can stand out in the darkness.
