A loader became curator of the exhibition in Tate Liverpool

Автор: 08.04.2018
In the Tate Liverpool gallery, an exhibition was opened, managed by Ken Simmons, who had been working as a manager for the loading of museum masterpieces for a long time.

Ken Simons worked at the Tate Liverpool Fine Arts Museum from its opening in 1988 and until retirement in the summer of 2017.

Before that, he had been working for ten years in the London Tate Gallery.

This year, on the 30th anniversary of Tate Liverpool, Simons became the curator of his own exhibition, entitled "The Ken Show", which includes 30 of his most beloved works from the Tate collection.

He says that all the works selected by him - William Turner, Philip King, Barbara Hepworth, Mark Rothko, Graham Sutherland and many others - "explore the invisible elements of our world."
