Beer Festival in the Czech Republic

The Beer Festival in Prague is the largest Czech beer festival and one of the youngest thematic festivals in Europe, been held since 2008. Despite the age, this annual event is grandiose not only in the scale of the capital, but the whole country, even becoming for tourists the main purpose of the trip and attracts the Czechs themselves. The event is attended by about 50 thousand people.

The site of the event is the Leten Gardens on the left bank of the Vltava River, Prague 7 area. Tents and entertainment grounds, available for guests, occupy 4000 square meters.

Atmosphere of the holiday every day is supplemented by live music and musical performances, and at the weekend afterparties (parties on the increasing) until dawn.

The entrance fee for the festival is 100 kroons, the guest receives a magnetic card that entitles to visiting the site during all 17 days of the holiday. In addition, a deposit of 20 kroons is paid for the card. Entrance without fee is provided for children under 15 years and residents of the Prague-7 area.
