Chinese Forbidden City made a blacklist of visitors
Such a decision local authorities made when many tourists started carving their names on the ancient relics, used counterfeit tickets, and littered at the area. The travelers who have expressed absence of respect to this UNESCO site will not be able to enter Forbidden City for the nearest three years.
Besides that, the head of museum introduced a system of tickets online-purchase and punishes them for resale in a strict way. The administration has already noticed positive result appearing because of blacklist introduction in June and intends to continue this practice.
Forbidden City is the main castle complex of Chinese emperors from XV to the beginning of XX century. It is surrounded by a wall and stank. It was the first Chinese sites included by UNESCO into World Heritage List in 1987.
Earlier Chinese authorities have already taken measures against malevolent behavior of tourists. For instance, because of increasing heed of travelers to the waist-naked statue Yang Guifei in province Shaanxi the writing «Take photos in a civilized way» is established in front of the monument, however, tourists perpetually ignore it.
