The authorities of Warsaw has forbidden the circuses where trained animals make performances.
It is reported by the mayor of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. «It is possible to see tigers only in the zoo», this Tuesday mayor of Polish capital wrote in her Twitter indicating the news about the authorities’ decision.
As The Local explains, shows in a circus with the participation of trained animals will not receive permission for the activity in public places from the local council, however, they will be able to perform at the private squares.
Warsaw is not the first Polish city which denied circuses. The mayor of city Słupsk in the north of the country also forbade the circuses trained animals and animals in the cage.
