In Netherlands the first wooden cycle lane will appear

The cycle lane will consist of platforms which, in their turn, will be produced from pressed wood shredding and resin known by their durability and solidity.

At first, as the experiment, 200 meters of wooden cycle lane will be constructed. The tract will be paved this summer so as to check its strength, resistance to environmental changes and rowdies.

As the web-portal Dutch News writes, the experiment will have taken several years, however, its first results will be acclaimed this autumn. In case of success of experiment the initiators of the project will build the plant producing wood chipboards.
