In Switzerland the museum of furniture IKEA is opening

7000 square meters of exhibition area and more than 20000 showpieces from the archive of company are intended to bow to Scandinavian furniture giant.

The main exposition is divided into three sections such as ‘Our roots’, ‘Our history’, and ‘Your history’. The first section is dedicated to the roots of company and its founder Ingvar Kamprad whose life ambitions include sale on affordable prices of stylish and functional furniture for house along with accessories.

The second section offers to the visitors to get familiar with the ideas, decisions, success and failure with which IKEA faced since the moment of opening of its first shop in 1958.

Finally, there is section ‘Your history’ investigates different methods with the help of which the significant production of the company is used in home interior of clients.

Apart from the observation of exhibit items, the guests of exhibition may enjoy the attendance of restaurants and outlets as well as listen to the seminars on the topics of enterprise, technology, design and social studies.

IKEA Museum will open its doors on the 30-th of June in Swiss city Älmhult.
