It isn’t hard at all to make world around better and brighter. All you need is to have a sincere desire and to find like-minded people for help. OUTLOOK was created three years ago as a project both about and for the world and OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL, founded by our team, became a graphic example of how ideas of good are put into practice.
This year the festival was participated by 20 embassies and 14 expatriate communities that live in Ukraine. Among them: Embassies of Uzbekistan, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Bulgaria, Argentina, Tajikistan, Morocco, Lebanon, Moldova, Palestine, Sudan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Romania, Georgia and India. Also, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Syria, Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, representatives of Ministry of Youth and Sports, Verkhovna Rada members, Kyiv City Council, heads of expatriate communities and non-governmental organizations honored solemn opening of the festival with their presence.
BY UNITING EFFORTS WE MAKE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION INTO STRENGTHENING OF TIES BETWEEN COUNTRIES AND FOSTER ESTABLISHMENT OF FRUITFUL INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE.
Area of OUTLOOK never lacked brightness and diversity. Amusing attractions and educative workshops gathered crowds of visitors eager to learn basics of origami, write own name in Bengali language (entertainment from Shahidul Alam), mat a felt souvenir, decorate oneself with a flag of a favorite country using face painting, watch Japanese hieroglyphs emerge from beneath a brush of Hitoshi Nakamura, paint a caricature from a “French painter form Montmartre” and many do other things.

Perhaps, nothing could make the event organizer happier than thousands of radiant smiles of the festival visitors. As you know, out events always cause big interest, but we could not expect for such a number of people who wanted to celebrate the festival with us. It inspires and encourages to expand the scale and square every time.
On the 7-th of October from 12.00 till 4 pm in Column hall of Kyiv city council (Khreschatik Street, 36) there will be the fourth festival of international communities’ cultures known as OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL. We will represent more than 40 reflections of different cultures to come into stage. We expect more than 30 embassies of foreign states and expat communities will take part. The festival is annually organized by the project OUTLOOK working in the scope of mass media and cultural diplomacy.
Two “armies” on the warpath are dressed in traditional uniforms – white shirts – look at each other menacingly, their weapons standby… The fight begins and the whiteness of outfits gets mixed with maroon – thanks God, it isn’t blood but nice Spanish wine! Folk costume is one of traditional cultural symbols. Diverstiry of colors, adornment elements and decoration styles reflect inimitble nature of every nation. Ukrainians managed to get acquianted with distinctive features of traditional fashion thank to OUTLOOK Project, Institute of Interational Relations and Development Fund of the Institute of Internatinal Relations as well as 22 embassies of foreign states accredited in Ukraine. Thank to OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL for nearly entire day of June 18 Column Hall of Kyiv City State Administration transformed into an international platform or maybe even some sort of large-scale transportation hub where one could easily exchange tickets with representatives of other countries and travel to explore their homelands instantly.

On the 20-th of May in Central Officers’ House of Armed Forces of Kiev there was a Festival of Georgian culture dedicated to the 20-th anniversary of creation of Georgian expat community in Ukraine and 25-th anniversary of Independence of Georgia.
