Dilma Rousseff was re-elected as the president of Brazil
Having led the nation since 2010, Rousseff has claimed that wants to be “better as the president comparing to recent times”, as it is reported by BBC Ukraine.
The rival of Rousseff, centre-right candidate Aecio Neves polled 48% of votes. The activity of electorial rush was mainly destined after automobile death of one of the main candidates for president – socialist Eduardo Campos.
The middle class gave preference to Neves, while disadvantaged population actively supported the acting president against the background of development of social help program.
In the first round of presidential elections, Dilma Rousseff acquired 41,5% of voting support, and Aecio Neves – 33,5%. In accordance with the findings of the first term of Rousseff's ruling, Brazil is technically in the state of recession.
