The citizen of Saint Petersburg Sergey Lukianov reached Rio de Janeiro for 496 days. In the course of travel he endured more than 18 thousand kilometers. The most part of travel was done by the tourist on foot.
Lukianov started his travel on the 1-st of April, 2015. On Sunday, the 7-th of August, he came to Brazilian city.
Initially, the man was planning to be in the capital of summer Olympic Games 2016 on the 5-th of August, however, in the trip he experienced the problems with health. The citizen of Saint Petersburg even had to do operation. In general, because of illness Lukianov lost 45 days.

According to the information of web-portal New Inform, Lukianov intends to finish the trip in spring 2017.
