United Arab Emirates will invest in the development of Halal tourism
It is stated that money will directed to the development and space planning of new hotels and resorts thought as the appropriate ones for the regulations of Islam.
Buchanan indicated that today United Arab Emirates represent the most rapidly increasing market of halal travels among the countries of Persian Gulf.
Currently in the mentioned country there are more than thirty brands of Halal tourism including four large hotel chains offering to their clients the services aligned with Sharia law.
At the beginning of August it was reported that Turkish travel agency Fusion Tour offered to its clients to participate in the first Halal cruise on Aegean Sea. Aboard there won’t be any alcohol or dishes made from the pork. Men and women will have the separated sport halls, spa-centres, Turkish baths, and prayer rooms.
In April, it was reported that in the sacral for Muslims city Mecca in Saudi Arabia the first Halal sex-shop would open.
As Global Muslim Travel Index 2015 reports, the number of tourists who chose Halal tourism in 2014 was 108 million people (ten per cent from the total number of tourists), and the rotation in area was in excess of 145 billion dollars. According to the forecast, by 2020 this number is to increase up to 200 billion dollars.
