Scandinavian parks took the first five places in the ranking of the best city parks.
When the respondents had been asked to estimate their city recreational and green areas, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland acquired more than eight from ten grades, as Norden Line reports.
According to EUROSTAT, approximately 40% of Europeans live in the heavily populated areas. In several countries this number is significantly higher. The highest rate of city citizens is in Great Britain (58.6% of population).
Among other European countries with high indicators of urbanization there are Cyprus (54.7%), Spain (48.5%), Malta (48%), Bulgaria (45.7%), and Netherlands (45,2%). The parks and squares make a great impact on people residing in these countries.
