Today on June 11 in Finland is launched a unique event Midnight Sun Film Festival.
The peculiarity of this event is in its location, all film screenings and other events are held in the village of Sodankylä, located in the heart of Lapland, about 120 kilometres above the Arctic Circle. In this area in summer sun does not go down at all. Lapland nature and the virtual absence of nights provide festival with atmosphere with which no other event can compete.
Films are shown in three locations for 24 hours day and night. Unusual festival will last until June 15, admission price starts from $ 7.
