Автор: 11.12.2016 | holiday, society
The famous in the world artist Hailey King working under the trademark FLOX has created the design of Christmas baubles depicting flower with medical peculiarities manuka. With the help of sales FLOX intends to arrange December campaign on the collection of financial expenses for the support of hospices in New Zealand.

New Year toys will be sold in all the corners of the country for $10 directing the amount taken in the hospices for seriously ill patients.

The idea to create the similar charitable project started from the visit of Hailey King to the hospice Totara in South Auckland. This hospice is well-known because there are a lot of people with incurable heart diseases, illnesses of motor system, oncology, and multiple sclerosis. In the hospice Hailey King found out several young men aged from twelve to seventeen years old who told to the painter that hospice is funded by the government, however, the expenditures proposed are not enough to keep the ill people well. The young representatives of hospice faced the illnesses of close people appearing in the hospitals and understood quite well what happens because of the lack of expenditures for ill people.

The artist came up with the idea of project that could help to attract attention of community to the problems of hospices in New Zealand, while new mates agreed to help him in promotion of the good. Concerning design of Christmas baubles, the artist decided to take the image of flower manuka growing in New Zealand and being famous for curing features. During many years this flower has been used in many families as the medical treatment way and now it is used, as well, by some people as the snake oil.
