Geoscientists from USA and New Zealand have found out huge amounts of gold and silver in the underground reservoirs of the North Island. The results of the scrutiny scientists have published in the magazine Geothermics, as well, the web-site Phys.org reports about them briefly.

It allows, in a case of arrangement of digging of precious metals, to receive up to three billion dollars per a year from the gold recovery, and 3.5 billions – from silver. As the geoscientists marked, especially cost-effective one could be a metal mining at two areas – Roto-Cave and Mocai (from 680 to 7.5 thousand kilos of silver per a year).

As the scientists mention, for the development of lucrative deposits the exploitation of technology of mineral products safe recovery is necessary, because in the region of volcanic zone Taupo there is a cognominal crater lake which is one of the largest freshwater lakes of the region and popular holiday destination of New Zealanders and tourists.
