New Zealand intends to have destroyed wild predators by 2050

It is stated that Predator Free New Zealand Ltd will fund the projects on the destruction of animals.
New Zealanders report that predators have come to the area of islands along with Europeans and Maori; moreover, until their appearing the ecosystem of New Zealand was more harmonic and balanced.
In his turn, the minister on the issues of environment preservation Maggie Bary spoke for the support of such a decision of the authorities.
‘Unique animals and plants are the central element of our national identity. Millions of years they had been evolving in the world without the mammals and, therefore, they became extremely susceptible to the coming predators’, as Bary marked.
