In Italy the first Christmas fairs have been opened
For instance, in Morimondo, a little city situated not far away from Milan, on the 24-th and 25-th of September the first Christmas fair in Italy opened, particularly, a national premier of the famous market in Bolzano.
Starting from 10 am and all day long, Tyrolean masters who gathered at the square Piazza dei Cistercensi represented their creations for the public. Certainly, at the market, apart from the hand-made crafts, one could purchase typical dishes and wines, Christmas decorations for the house and New Year tree, strudels, organic apple juice, Tyrolean bread baked in the wooden oven, chocolate, Alpine cheese, smoked meat products, honey, etc.
While the guests have been walking along the fairs, they are entertained by Tyrolean folk collectives and magnificent puppet show that fascinated with the legends about hobs and the Schlern witches.
