In Italian province Padova the deepest pool in the world is opened. Building called as Y-40 is located in the hotel Terme Millepini on spa-resort Montegrotto-Terme, as it is reported by The Blaze.
The maximum depth of pool reaches 40 metres. The core body of Y-40 corresponds to the cylinder. It is covered with the special tablet which is able to stay under strong pressure, and is equipped with the lighting fixtures. The pool is full of thermal water, the temperature of which is at the level of +32–34°C.
The author of project is entrepreneur and architect Emanuele Boaretto. He explained that letter Y in the name of building refers to the Greek word «yro», translated as «under». Now Y-40 is available for everybody who wants to use it. Soon the school of divers will be included into building. It is expected that it would be headed by the famous sportsman Umberto Pelizzari. Italian Y-40 grabbed title from the deepest pool Nemo 33, which is situated in Belgium. Its maximum depth is 33 metres. As for the biggest pool, it is considered as Chilean Algaborro. Its square reached almost 20 acres (nearly 90 thousand square metres), and cost goes beyond billion dollars.
