American groundhog Phil has predicted that winter will have been continuing for six weeks. It is reported by Reuters.

The groundhog came out of the holt at 7:25 local time.
Last year Phil was also afraid of its shade and hid in the holt. In 2013 because of gloomy weather the groundhog did not see its shadow thus predicting the early coming of spring.
