On June 2 the largest state of Australia turns into venue for celebration of the national holiday - the Foundation Day.
This date was proclaimed to honour event of 1829 when the first settlers of the West Coast completed their long journey from Britain to the Green continent.
They arrived on the ship Parmelia in command of Captain James Stirling. For a few days strong wind did not give them a chance to step on shore, and they watched their new home staying in the see.
