Автор: 24.11.2015 | Iceland
The huge piece of giant glacier situated in the West of Greenland started creeping down in the ocean – it could raise the level of global ocean to half a meter.

«Reuters» reports about that alluding to the materials of investigating magazine «Science».

Besides that, similar processes – even though not in such scales – happen at other coasts of the island.

The reason for that is increase of water temperature in Greenland aquatorium and subterranean rivers washing glaciers.

Herein in total northern island contains enough quantity of ice in order to raise the level of global ocean approximately to six meters.
