Film critics wail over the fact that «Sundance» is becoming too bulky. Here you may watch nearly one hundred American and foreign premier screening (selected from more than 3.5 thousand applications) in ten denominations for documentary and feature motion pictures. Besides that, there are many round-table conferences where numerous sides of performing arts are discussed. Certainly, there is no denying that strict intelligent direction of first cinema festivals has gone away, partly making way for glamour trends. However, there are only several movie festivals where such a democracy and attachment to the roots are typical. Up to now, Sundance stands by the initial idea that means destruction of barrier between cinema industry starts and their rave critics and rivals.
Apart from that, Sundance is not only movie. It means mountains in winter splendor, living music, and overcrowded bars with controversies with newfound friends. Invaluable emotions of immersiveness which appears due to the fact that such a sophisticated event may be available to such an extent.
