Today in the German city of Düsseldorf opens the world's largest jazz festival Jazz Rally.
As part of this music celebration visitors will enjoy over 80 concerts on 35 stages with 500 music bands. Four stages will act in Dusseldorf Airport, four ones will open in the river port, and others are located within the Altstadt – the historic center.
According to the organizer company Destination Düesseldorf, the annual music event is attended by about 250 thousand music fans. For Düsseldorf entire population of which does not exceed 600 thousand people, it is a very considerable figure.
Alongside jazz – the trademark of festival – the Düsseldorf Jazz Rally is also offering related styles such as Rock, Blues, Funk and Fusion.
Germany will be welcoming Jazz Rally till June 9. Admission to the concerts ranges from 25 to 40 euros, a visitor can also purchase a universal pass Jazz-Button – a big round badge with which one can get to any festival event. This badge costs only one and a half more than a ticket to a separate concert.
