Munich is recognized as the best city for Christmas shopping
The top three cities, according to the stated indicator, also included Budapest (913 euro) and Strasbourg (932 euro).
The dozen ones of the ranking in the decreasing order, as well, included Riga, Vienna, Berlin, French Lille, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Prague, as Lenta.ru reports.
The experts also compiled the rank of European cities for the budget rest at the beginning of December. While compiling such a ranking from eleven cities such parameters were taken into account as the cost of accommodation in the hotel for two people, food, beverages, and price of flight from London.
In this list Tallinn is forging ahead. The cost of rest for two people at the beginning of December in the capital of Estonia will make up, in average, 625 euro. The second place is obtained by Riga with the indicator of 636 euro. Three positions are encircled by Prague (676 euro). The list also included Munich, Lille, Budapest, Berlin, Strasbourg, Copenhagen, and Vienna. The eleventh position is acquired by Stockholm. The rest before the Christmas in the capital of Switzerland will be the most expensive, nearly 931 euro.
The season of before-holiday sales in Europe starts two weeks before Catholic Christmas that is celebrated on the 25-th of December.
