On June 12 Barcelona welcomes the Europe’s biggest electronic and advanced music festival Sónar.
It takes place in the capital of Catalonia since 1994. Sónar is unique in its form and content, it combines the avant-garde and experiments, showing the interaction of artists and different trends in electronic music.
The festival is divided into two parts: Sónar by Day for performances of young and yet unknown performers, it is also time for exhibitions and fairs. And Sónar by Night including concerts of famous musicians.
Annually the festival is attended by about 100 000 people who enjoy flawless program that brings together young musicians and famous DJs, trendsetters in contemporary music.
